Linda L. Lee is a registered psychologist in private practice in southwest Calgary. She has been chartered since 1990. Linda provides individual and group therapy for adults. She specializes in the treatment of anxiety, depression, stress, childhood abuse, self-esteem issues, weight management and habit control. Treatment includes cognitive-behavioral therapy, psychotherapy, clinical hypnosis and group therapy. Linda and her associate, Agnes Temesvary, facilitate the Power of Self, a ten-session self-esteem group for adults. Linda is the co-author (with her son) of two books on self-esteem for children and is in the process of writing a book on self-esteem for adults based on the Power of Self groups. In 2009, Linda completed the International Diploma in Mental Health Law and Human Rights Legislation with Distinction at the India Law College in Pune, India in collaboration with the World Health Organization. International Mental Health Projects will include working with her classmates from Zambia, South Pacific Islands, Jamaica and Afghanistan. And Linda is considering pursuing a PhD in Disability Law to further advance her mental health advocacy efforts.
