Individual Therapy

Linda Lee has been trained to provide cognitive-behavioral therapy and has 15 years of experience with these techniques. Cognitive-Behavioral therapy is very effective for the treatment of depression and anxiety. Linda Lee is also trained to provide other forms of therapy such as psychotherapy, supportive therapy and stress management therapy. Linda usually provides a variety of therapies to not only reduce symptoms effectively but to also address other issues and concerns that may have triggered the symptoms in addition to the biological and neurochemical causal factors.

Group Therapy

Self-Esteem Group

The Power of Self is a ten-session self-esteem group for adults that takes place during the fall semester. This group is considered to be psychoeducational with teaching about self-esteem taking place as well as therapeutic where members are given time to share and support one another. The maximum number of members is ten plus two psychologists as facilitators.

Clinical Hypnosis

Clinical Hypnosis can be a very effective tool of treatment. The individual’s own state of focused attention can be used to decrease symptoms, change negative behaviors and influence physical processes. Clinical hypnosis can work very well for weight loss and stopping smoking. And it can be used well to stop habits such as picking or nail biting. Clinical Hypnosis can also be very effective to further understand psychological processes and childhood experiences.
